Mia Roth

Mia was most recently seen performing in NYC with Village Light Opera Group in "VLOG Does the Tonys 2: No Sore Losers" as a featured soloist in numbers such as Cell Block Tango, Who I'd Be, Major Award, and more! Prior to this, Mia completed her first national tour with Jurassic Quest as a show host and puppeteer. During her time on the road, she was promoted to Lead Performer and was given the opportunity to write and put on new shows for the company! Mia graduated in spring of 2022 from the Integrated Program at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City where she strengthened her skills as a triple threat. Some notable roles Mia played during her time at AMDA include Rose in Dogfight, Jenna in Waitress, Carrie Pipperidge in Carousel, Amy in Of Good Stock, Sherry in Tigers Be Still, and Ester in Dry Land. Mia also performed in Cincinnati Young People’s Theatre’s production of Legally Blonde as the courtroom stenographer and as a member of the ensemble. She currently resides in New York City.

While in school, Mia trained in both golden age and contemporary musical theatre and acting, Shakespeare, classical voice, musical theatre voice, voice production and speech, tap, ballet, theatre dance, and jazz. She has worked closely with Jena VanElslander, Casey Colgan, Chryssie Whitehead, Antoinette DiPietropolo, Michael Perilstein, John Saunders, Brigid Brady, Nic Thompson, Joey Falduti, and others.

Mia was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and has been performing onstage since she was in Annie at age six. Once she started, she could not stop! While in high school, she was invited to the Beginnings Workshop in New Jersey and New York where she was given the opportunity to train for a week with industry professionals and then perform a monologue onstage at the Orpheum Theatre Off-Broadway. It was here that Mia decided with complete certainty that she wanted to pursue musical theatre as a career. She is thrilled to be an AMDA alumni and a new member of the industry!
